After Taking the MCAT

I will never hold the surgeon's knife,
Because I did not find the kidneys on the abdominal wall.
I will never prescribe drugs for anyone,
Because I did not hydrolyze amines to carboxylic acids.
I will never be a doctor.

  1. Hi, somehow, I chanced on your blog. I think more than anything, I was captured by your sub-header, as T.S. Eliot has in more than one way transformed the way I think about life; at some point in my life, I had most of Prufrock memorized. As a fellow aspiring physician scientist, I am struck by how genuine your personal statement was. It was at the very least inspirational to read, and I wish you the very best of luck.
Also, I am sure your MCATs went splendidly.
